If you prefer and offer your own delivery method instead of contracting with courier companies, NEXT BASKET provides the option to set up your custom delivery method.
1. To configure this feature, go to the Store > Shipping methods:
2. Click the "Add Shipping Method" button:
3. Fill in the necessary details in the setup fields:
- Back-office name: The name of the delivery method is visible only in your store's Admin panel.
- Front-store Name: The name of the delivery method is visible to customers.
- Description: Optional
- Notes: Optional
- Image: The image representing the delivery method should be in the size of 200x200 pixels.
- Courier: When setting up a custom delivery method not associated with a courier company, you can leave this field blank.
- Payment method: Payment methods that you want to be valid for the respective delivery method.
Note: To make them visible in the dropdown menu, payment methods need to be configured in your store beforehand.
After setting up the payment method, you need to specify the actual delivery cost, which can be a fixed price or free delivery over a certain amount.
Once you've filled out this information, confirm it with the Save button:
The next step is to configure Shipping zones:
To make a shipping method visible, it needs to be added to the relevant shipping zone. You can do this through the Store > Shipping Zones > Add shipping zone:
By following these steps, you can create and configure your custom delivery method in your online store.
