Discounts and vouchers are crucial for online businesses as they attract customers, boost sales, and enhance customer loyalty. For e-store owners, offering these incentives can significantly increase conversion rates and drive repeat purchases.
To create discount vouchers for customer groups, first, you need to create one(s).
How to create a customer group
- In the main menu of your admin panel, go to Customers.
- Select Customer groups.
- Hit the Add customer group.
- Enter a specific group name and a description for it.
- Confirm the group creation with the Save.
How to create specific discounts
- In your e-store’s admin panel, go to Marketing.
- Select Promotions and discounts.
- Hit the button Create price rule.
Following, a few options will appear in a dropdown.
- Select Promo code.
- In the newly opened tab, enter the necessary information about the promotion you want to create, including name, description, etc.
- Generate a PROMO CODE with the designated button and set the rest of the adjustments.
- Scroll down and under Customer-targeted promotions, select Insert customer group, and click in the field so that all previously created customer groups would appear. Then select the one you want to apply the discount to.
- Set the promotion time frame to Time-Bound or Permanent with the designated buttons and set the status to Active.
At this step you can also set email notifications to the clients that are included in the specific group, providing them with important information about the promotion.
- Confirm the settings with the Save button at the top right of the screen.
