Under Store > Settings > General, you can make a series of changes to your online store - those that affect the visual part of the store or others related to its functionality and readiness to serve your customers.
Basic Settings
- Enter Site name - this usually corresponds to the name of your brand.
- See the Storefront domain name at the front of the store - this is the URL of your online store without the "https://" part. This value cannot be changed.
- Select your Default Language from the dropdown list. All elements of your web store's user interface will be visible in the language you select.
- Choose your Default Currency from the dropdown list. All purchases in your web store will be conducted in this currency.
- Enter an email address for the "Contact Us" field that will be in your header and/or footer. The entered email address will be visible in the title of your site's homepage and in the "Contacts" column of the footer.
- Enter an email address for Recommendations. The entered address will be visible in the recommendations section of the footer. Typically, this address is used for suggestions and complaints.
- Enter a valid Phone number. It will be visible in the title of your site's homepage and in the Contacts column of the footer.
- Under Location, enter the physical address of your web store. This field is not mandatory. At the end of the process with the entered settings, confirm by clicking the Save button in the bottom right corner of the admin pane.
