      Add product types and attach attributes

      Learn how to create product types and attach to them attributes

      Create Product types and add Attributes

      The suggested flow assumes that you have already created attributes. Learn more about adding Attributes.

      1. Go to Catalog > Product types.

      2. On the Product types page, hit Create product type. 

      3. Enter the Product type name. This name is visible only in the Admin panel.
      4. Further below is the table with "Existing Attributes". Click the plus (+) sign at the end of the row for each attribute you want to add.

      5. Hit Save.

       

      You can always add or remove attributes from Product types.
